About the event

Rapid growth, rather than cyber resilience, is the first priority of scaleups and investment-backed businesses. Yet sustainable growth isn't possible if your organisation cannot assure customers of its cyber resilience, or survive a cyberattack.

This webinar will explore how growth-oriented boards can embed cyber resilience into governance practices - especially under the pressures of investor scrutiny, and exit readiness.

This session is designed for board members, investors and advisors of growth companies. It will be held under Chatham House rules.

Speakers: The CxB team with Dee Parekh and Sarah Chilcott

Dee is the founder of Strarc, an initiative designed to elevate cyber resilience, governance, and value creation across investment-backed businesses. With deep experience in cyber strategy, investment lifecycle risk, and board-level assurance, Dee works with scaleups, private equity funds, and portfolio companies to embed resilience into high-growth environments.

Sarah is an experienced SME business leader, board member, NED and trustee. She is now a director at consultancy hgkc, acting as an advisor to a range of organisations on growth, leadership and exit planning, as well as providing specialist advice on digital planning, data and proptech. Previously she was Managing Director at the national Planning Portal, a critical piece of UK digital infrastructure.
