About the event
If your board is to play a proper role in cyber security risk oversight, you need clarity about how and where technology decisions are made in your organisation.Â
How involved is your board in significant decisions about technology and cyber security investments? It’s often hard for non-executives to scrutinise the detail of proposals, and once projects are underway there’s even less room for manoeuvre. Some crucial decisions never come to the board in the first place - a fact that may come to light only after things have gone wrong.
In this session we will discuss:
- What makes a strategic technology decision
- Effective governance structures and delegation to executive teams
- Dealing with detail
This session is designed for non-executive directors, although it may be of interest to senior executive leaders and those who support boards. It will be held under Chatham House rules.Â
